This policy explains how Bynd ("we", "us") handles personal data collected through this website and in the course of our work. We process data in line with the General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation 2016/679, "GDPR"), the ePrivacy Directive and Turkish Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (KVKK).

2. What we collect
We only collect what we need. Depending on how you use the site, this may include:
- Enquiry details — the name, company, email address and message you submit through our contact form.
- Usage data — anonymised information about how the site is used, collected only if you accept analytics cookies.
- Correspondence — the content of emails and calls when you get in touch.
3. Why we use it and our legal basis
- To reply to your enquiry and discuss a possible engagement — on the basis of steps taken at your request before entering a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- To improve the site — on the basis of your consent to analytics cookies (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time.
- To meet legal and accounting obligations — on the basis of our legal obligations (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR).
4. How long we keep it
Enquiry data is kept for as long as needed to respond and, if we begin working together, for the duration of the engagement plus any period required by tax and accounting law. Analytics data is retained for a defined period as set out in our Cookie Policy. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.
5. Who we share it with
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers that help us operate — for example, our email and analytics providers — and only under agreements that require them to protect it. Some of these providers may process data outside Türkiye or the European Economic Area; where that happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
6. Your rights
Under the GDPR and KVKK you have the right to access your data, correct it, ask us to delete it, restrict or object to its processing, and request a copy in a portable format. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
7. Security
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. No method of transmission is entirely secure, but we work to keep the risk low and review our measures regularly.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the date at the top of the page. Significant changes will be noted clearly on the site.
